Santushti shopping complex or 'Santushti' as most localites would call it, is a peaceful retreat, away from all the hustle and bustle of the crowded markets of Delhi. It is an upscale collection of shops nestled amidst beautifully manicured lawns. Terracotta pots and sculptures add to the tranquil surroundings.
And would you believe this....?
One can even spot peacocks roaming the gardens and then posing for some up close and personal shots.
One of the prominent stores in this place is 'Santushti Concept'- a treasure trove for artifacts from all over the country.

Very Nice posting Neha, the Jharokha and the silver artifacts are beautiful, hopefully I will get to visit these places soon, Thanks for helping me make my list :)
ReplyDeleteNice post! Thanks for bringing back the memories of Santushti. If I remember correctly it was started by a group of army officers wives to promote art and crafts. Anokhi in the complex was my favorite. My house in Norway has the curtains from Shyam Ahuja that was in santushti. It has been long since I went back to it. I think I will stop by it next time in Delhi.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Sharkara!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Shanthi. I'm glad you liked the post. I like the Anokhi store as well.
ReplyDeletePeacocks walking about! I really need to visit Delhi on my next India trip. Looks like it is a shopping haven!
